Black Men Vote PAC Endorses Jay Jones for Attorney General of Virginia
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Black Men Vote PAC proudly announces its endorsement of Jay Jones for Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a trailblazing former legislator and civil rights champion, Jones embodies the kind of transformative leadership Black men across Virginia are calling for.
“Jay Jones understands the moment and the movement,” said Mike Bland, Executive Director of Black Men Vote. “He brings courage, clarity, and a record of results to the fight for justice. His election would be a historic first, but more importantly, it would be a win for every Virginian who wants a fairer system and a future that works for all.”
Jay Jones is a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates and has led on criminal justice reform and civil rights issues, and brings a tireless commitment to making government work for all Virginians. When elected, he would become the first African American individual to serve as Attorney General in Virginia, the former capital of the confederacy.
“I’m proud to have the support of Black Men Vote PAC, a group that understands this moment and what’s at stake,” said Jay Jones. “This campaign is about fighting for a justice system that serves everyone and a Commonwealth that finally delivers on its promise of opportunity for all.”
