Delegate Jay Jones Raises Over $1 Million in 2020

Delegate Jay Jones (D-Norfolk) raised over $1 million in 2020 and has more than
$723,000 cash-on-hand heading into 2021. Jones boasts the highest amount raised and
highest cash-on-hand at this point in the cycle of any non-incumbent Democratic
candidate for Attorney General in Virginia history.

“I’m humbled by the support that we’ve received from across the Commonwealth since
launching our campaign for Attorney General,” said Delegate Jay Jones. “We have
momentum in this race because our campaign is uniting Virginians in this new decade
and will continue to raise the resources needed to win in June and November.”

Delegate Jones currently represents the 89th District in the Virginia House of Delegates
after being elected in 2017. In the General Assembly, Delegate Jones has championed
Medicaid Expansion, true and comprehensive justice reform, common sense gun safety
legislation, and holding our utility providers accountable.
