Mid-Atlantic Region of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) Endorses Jay Jones for Attorney General

Labor union with over 40,000 members across the Mid-Atlantic region throws support behind Jones’ historic campaign on behalf of Virginia’s families

Norfolk, VA — Today, the Mid-Atlantic Region of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) announced its support for Jay Jones’ campaign for Attorney General.

“LIUNA is proud to endorse Jay Jones for Attorney General,” said Dennis L. Martire, LIUNA Vice President and Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager. “Throughout his career in public service, whether as an assistant attorney general or a member of the House of Delegates, Jay has consistently advocated for working families and will work hard to uplift all Virginians by ensuring both a strong workforce and a flourishing economy.”

He has pledged to fight to protect workers’ rights and hold corporations accountable when they take advantage of everyday Virginians,” said Ryan N.Boyer, Business Manager of the Philadelphia/Baltimore/Washington Laborers’ District Council. “LIUNA shares his vision for a safer, stronger and more inclusive Virginia.”
